Floor Deck & Permanent Formwork
Permanent Formwork · Monolithic Slab System
Magnesium permanent formwork serves as a stay-in-place form for cast-in-place concrete slabs. It requires no stripping after pouring, works compositely with the concrete and doubles as a Class A1 fire-rated base — eliminating formwork removal and accelerating structural construction.

FAQ
Permanent formwork vs traditional timber formwork?+
Timber formwork must be stripped and reused after pouring — labor-intensive and wasteful. Magnesium permanent formwork stays in place; its smooth underside serves directly as a ceiling/decorative base while adding Class A1 fire performance.
Does permanent formwork affect structural safety?+
No. Slab load capacity is carried by the designed concrete and steel reinforcement/truss; the board acts as construction formwork and in-service fire/decorative base. Selection and details must follow the project structural design.
How is permanent formwork supplied?+
Supplied per project slab layout, optionally with steel trusses and propping. Direct project supply and dealer channels are available; submit quantities for pricing and delivery scheduling.
Is it suitable for renovation additions?+
Yes. Additions are load-sensitive; lightweight permanent formwork eliminates wet work and stripping, quickly forming floor slabs with steel structures.
Is a suspended ceiling still needed underneath?+
The underside is smooth and Class A1; in most cases it can be skim-coated or fitted with decorative finishes directly, without a conventional suspended ceiling — subject to interior design.
